I am Andy Mabbett, aka @pigsonthewing, from Birmingham, England. My website is http://pigsonthewing.org.uk/

My interests include microformats, and I am largely responsible for their deployment on Wikipedia.

I am concerned that the Time element should be suitable for use with non-Gregorian, fuzzy, imprecise and era-spanning dates; and that we should be able to mark-up coordinates for places other than on planet Earth; hence my blog post Dates and coordinates in HTML5, and related activities.

Though I'd rather be bird-watching.
